I had my Master of Science in nursing few years ago; thereafter I have been practicing as an ICU Nurse Practitioner in a large metropolitan hospital in Washington, D C. I am fully satisfied of my career; however, I was tempted by the fast paced Operative Room environment. Anesthesiology, in particular, was appealing to me. Every procedure in this field is a mini-experiment in Physiogy and Pharmacology.
